+ How do I book you for an event?

You can get started by submitting the Booking Form on the Contact page. If I am available for the event I will confirm the booking and reserve your date and time.

+ How does payment work?

Upon receiving confirmation of your booking, a contract signature and retainer fee will be due. The remainder of the fee will be paid one week prior to the event. I accept payments through Venmo (@Robin-Kaplan-3), cash, or check. A service charge will be added for credit card payments. Visit the Payments page.

+ When do you arrive and set up?

I will arrive to the venue at least 30 minutes before the start time indicated in the contract. This allows me enough time to set up, tune, and do a sound check.

+ What is included in a wedding ceremony fee?

For wedding ceremonies, the fee includes performance while guests are arriving and assembling, Prelude, Processional, Entrance, Recessional, and an additional five to ten minutes of performance after the ceremony to accompany the guests dispersal. As is sometimes the case, ceremonies are somewhat delayed. I like to maintain a relaxed atmosphere by not charging extra in these situations for up to half an hour.  

+ Do I need to provide anything for you like a sound system, chair, etc.?

Unless your event is outdoors, I will provide everything that I need to perform for your event; including a chair, stand, battery-powered sound system, etc. Outdoor events require shade coverage (i.e. umbrella) to protect instruments from direct sunlight and rain.

+ Do you take song requests?

Special song requests can be accommodated at an added cost when requested at least 3 months in advance. Please review my repertoire list to begin thinking about your song selections and I am happy to discuss personal song requests with you.
